NBA subtracts rebound from LeBron's triple-double
By Official Release Posted Feb 6 2009 4:02PM
NEW YORK -- The NBA announced today that a statistical error was made during the Cleveland Cavaliers-New York Knicks game on Feb. 4 at Madison Square Garden.
Cavaliers forward LeBron James was incorrectly credited with a rebound with 39.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter that should have been awarded to Cleveland forward Ben Wallace. Due to the correction, James finished Wednesday's game with nine rebounds -- one rebound short of a triple-double -- while Wallace ended with two rebounds.

The Lord is My God....
Thanks, Nikki. I never thought of looking up the meaning of my name before, but Nikki did.
It turns out my name means "the Lord is my God."
Coooooool! I'm really proud now. I used to be insecure of my name because of it's similarity to Allison. But now, it's pretty kick ass haha.

This one isn't the official video, but it's cool nonetheless.
I love her album. It's called "Youth Novels." Dope album, dope videos. I know I'm late, but whatever. I know there has to be someone out there that's later than I am haha. Enjoy!
Summit...
It is now 4:58A.M. I got home about 10 minutes ago. The summit ended abruptly at 6P.M.
-I left about 24 hours ago. I got to Joe's about about 5:45 to get my health mix. I started feeling sober again at about 4AM yesterday, so I'm thankful it didn't last that long.
-A trip that was supposed to take 4 and a half hours back and forth ended up being 8 hours. I had to take Francesca to Katrina's house which was a massive detour.
-It should've been 260 miles altogether back and forth, but I ended up driving 370 miles today. Damn it! I used up one whole gas tank and a little extra.
-My car is so freakin' messy because the kids eating in there and just leaving crap. Act like I don't care about my car or something! Respect! Sheesh.
As for the summit:
-It was cool seeing people I hadn't seen in a while.
-Vince and Jeryl are cute together haha. I hope you don't read that, dude. Gay!
-I'm feelin' the assembly and household books they got cooked up. Put me in for an order.
-Pre-Con got moved to May 30th. That's my birthday. That means I'll have to delay Disney World and San Diego for a day.
-I was so tired from not sleeping the night before. Thankfully, I got some sleep in the right corner of the room behind the chairs. Thanks, Kuya Mickey, for the heads up.
-"It only takes one." - Vince
-My group was a trip.... mostly Matt, Rommel, and Kirk. I damn near lost it way too many times. That girl Kim from DE/PA was like you're really annoyed huh? Yes, yes I am.
-I got good advice from a couple of people regarding what I should do with a certain brother. I'm on it!
-Mark and AJ, I'm really thankful for them coming out to the summit. They could've been elsewhere that day, but instead they chose to accept the invitation to lead and be a part of something great. Thanks! They're my ticket out! Just kidding haha. I got a couple years left in me.
-Involve ourselves with a parish.
-Involving family in events is really important. But unfortunately for me, my parents are in FFL, so it's not gonna work out haha.
-Delaware is dead! I thought Manassas was bad haha.
-We left so abruptly... not appreciated.
-I'm guilty of the coffee. Woops!

Black-Metallic Silver...
I finally picked these up today. I'm very happy with the trade. I let my Neon AM 95's go. I barely wore them because they just didn't look right on me. They were way too narrow. But yeah, finally! I passed on these when they came out to buy the Royal Foamposite One instead. Better pics will come at a later time.

First Snow Day of '09... in Manassas at least
Woops, I was supposed to rest today. This damn snow day threw me off, so I ended up running again. Oh well, it's perfect. I have no time because of school tomorrow, so that'll be my rest day. Anyway, here I am 4 1/2 weeks in:

Speaking of the snow day, I was so surprised when I woke up. If ya'll remember from pictures of when I first repainted my room, my bed is right by my window. So, I looked outside my window half asleep, and to my surprise, snow was falling to the ground real heavily in addition to the snow that was already packed onto the ground. I was pretty sure there was no school until I looked online. Then, at around 1:45, I looked at my Gmail. My professor for HEAL 110 sent us an e-mail that she talked to the department head and determined that it was in the best interest of everyone to stay home today because of road conditions. I couldn't care less since I only live 7-8 minutes from the PW campus. But yeah, I was happy with that since my brother went out to the supermarket while I looked after the kids. I would've been late to class because he took a while, so thank God class was cancelled.
Some pics of the kids playing:
Before going outside. Timmy adores his kuya, for real.

Selwyn trying to taste the snow.

Timmy in front of my brother's car.

The boys in the culdesac.

Lastly, Jayden is doing well. She's always so cute all bundled up. My brother got this perfect picture of her on the couch. She was smiling HARD in her sleep. So cute! I'm vying for that number 1 spot as far as being the godfather. But I doubt I'll be ninong since my sister-in-law is the first amongst her siblings to have a child. So her brother will probably be the ninong. Boo!

A Rosary A Day Keeps D'Evils Away...
That's all I gotta say. I feel so good afterward. Thanks, Nikki!
Oh... and week 5 started today. All I gotta say is wow. I started this whole thing 4 weeks ago running at 6mph with 6 sprint intervals being winded. Now, I'm running at 8-8.3mph with 10 sprint intervals being only slightly tired. I'm feelin' good. GK marathon? Hmm.....
2 inches off the waist, baby!

Week 4...
I was too lazy to post about week 3 and I had too many things going on, which was a good thing.
On Monday, I went with Nikki to UMD's gym. There were so many different type of people there. I wanted to play ball and shoot around, but all courts were accounted for. So, I just ran on the track. I did about 2 miles. I mixed in some interval in there, but I couldn't really regulate my times, so I can't count it officially into my regimen. The rest of the week was very challenging though. During week 1 and week 2, I ran at about 6 mph. This week, I ran at about 7.5 mph and my rest periods were only 30 seconds. I feel like passing out after each session, but I'm seeing results. My clothes fit great, and adults have commented me as well as a few of my peers. Woohoo!
So, week 4 starts tomorrow. It's the same as week 3, but instead of 6 rounds of sprinting and resting, I'm doing 8 rounds of sprinting and resting. Hopefully, I'll have enough stamina to be able to give me all for all 8 rounds. My nutrition is also doing better. I'm eating more often with smaller portions. I've cut out soda completely as well as my old habit of eating random snacks here and there that never filled me up, but I'm sure those fats added up. I'm still keeping my sodium low. I just gotta eat more polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats. So, I need to eat stuff like cashews, almonds, avocado, corn, soybean. I didn't know seeds and nuts were so good for the body. I'm also contemplating on buying one of those bottles that have like omega 3 fish oil pills. I don't know what natural way I could consume that, so yeah, I might buy that bottle. Who knows.
Anyway, here's week 4. Thanks to http://losebellyfat.intervaltraining.net/Losebellyfat4/

Running Statistics after 3 weeks:

Running is basically my main even for my days now haha.
Anyway, what did I do this week... Hmm..
-Thursday was Timmy's 3rd birthday. We had a birthday party for him today. That was fun even though none of my own friends came. Well, that's because I didn't invite anyone haha. Most of them are in Vegas or I knew they already had plans. I wanted Nikki to go, but it was Aya's birthday today.
-I visited the camp Saturday night with Marion. Good seeing that dude again.
-I went to the mall with Nikki on Friday and spent time with her. I didn't complain at the girly stores as much, so I was kinda proud of that. That night, I visited the camp to help Jon with Talk 4. Then I ended up staying even longer to lend my words to the other speakers. It was cool, I felt useful and wise haha.
-On Tuesday, I went to CP to give Nikki some company. I was supposed to go to the shrine with everyone, but I had to find a place that cashed MoneyGrams. I went to like 2 CVS's and 2 Shoppers. None of those bastards cashed them like the website said. What a waste! I ended up having to drive back down to Clinton and go to that Wal-Mart. They finally cashed it for me. Then, I wrapped up the XII's in my car and shipped them off. I wrapped them up real crappy, too haha. It was embarassing giving it to the USPS person. Oh well, I made $150 off of that. At the end of it all, I still drove back up to CP and went to the shrine for mass. That day was way too much driving. Hot damn.
That's all that I can think of. Farewell, bloggers!

Dolphins vs. Ravens - Ravens
Colts vs. Chargers - Chargers

Eagles vs. Vikings - Eagles
4-0!

Ravens vs. Titans - Ravens
Chargers vs. Steelers - Chargers

Cardinals vs. Panthers - Panthers
Eagles vs. Giants - Eagles
6-2 : ( I had an impressive week 1, but this week, I messed up my picks. Oh well, 6-2 is still good. Somehow, I just knew the Giants would choke away. The Cardinals game really threw me off though. I thought them missing Anquan would be a big deal plus the Panthers had a sick running game. Also, I thought the Chargers would pull off another upset, but I guess they couldn't in that cold and against the number 1 defense. Thankfully, the Ravens saved me and won.

Hello, Week Two...
Taken from: http://losebellyfat.intervaltraining.net/Losebellyfat2/
Anyway, I started week 2 today. I ate within my Resting Metabolic Rate which is about 1,900 calories and I cut down on my sugar intake. I could already see how much faster I'm running. I don't get tired as quickly either. I ran for only 18 minutes today as opposed to last week's 20 minute sessions. Interestingly enough, I lost 22 more calories and 7 more fat calories in running for a shorter period of time and distance today than I did last week. The intensity truly did make a difference. Notice that last week, I was only supposed to sprint at intensity 7. Today, it was at intensity 9, plus there was 30 seconds less resting time after each sprint.

End of Interval Training Week 1...
Today marked the end of week 1 for me. It was very difficult the first day, but on the second and third days, I was less out of breath during the rest periods. Also, I was supposed to rest today, but I was feeling really good about myself, so I cheated and did some minor interval running. I did less sets but higher intensity.
During the days in between the interval running, I just did some speed walking as a warm up and cool down. Then I did some light jogging (around 4 mph) the rest of the time. That's why it took me 35 minutes just to complete it. That's treadmill time, so it's mad inflated. I can do 2 miles on the track in half the time.
Click on it for a better view.

On to week 2 tomorrow!

I just had to share this beast moment.
Here are two of my words back to back. Boy was I lucky.
STOPPING = 89 points
QUITTING (using the G from STOPPING) = 104 points
