Go buy this album! I'm loving it so far. It's not as soulful as I would've liked like Blueprint 1 was, but the album is real good. The worst part of the album is Timbo's production. He really stunk it up on his 2 songs. I know they're going for a "different" sound, but dang, let that different sound be good at least.

3 Miles a Day...

Because 2 miles a day is for pansies. Haha. My treadmill broke downstairs, so I've been putting in work running outdoors. It feels good. I can turn it up a notch and sprint even when my body tells me I'm tired. My mind tells me I can still run fast. It's a good feeling. I'm trying to run that bridge and do 5 miles, though. Come on MD, folk! Shoot me an invite, damn! Haha.

Three and A Half Weeks Until Cali...

There's a little bit under a month left to go until Cali. I've put my exercise off all month. The 4th of July really messed me up diet wise and exercise wise. Well, I got back on it tonight. I just got done running 2 miles outdoors around my neighborhood. I got done in about 18 minutes, so I'm somewhat content with that. At some points, when I really put my effort into it, I found myself able to sprint even if my body was saying "No." So, I'm confident I can get down to 15 minutes for 2 miles by mid-August.

Tomorrow morning, I'm going to go to Bloom and buy:

-1 pound of oven roasted turkey
-1 loaf of Nature's Own double fiber wheat bread
-2 hass avocados
-4 gala apples
-1 bottle of dijon mustard

That should be at about $16. Damn!

The avocados and apples should last me until about Wednesday. Everything else should last me until next week. In between my meals of turkey sandwiches, I'll be eating oatmeal. This sucks, but it has to be done.

Then, every morning, I'll be driving to GMU to run at the track and to lift weights or play ball. I have 14 free entrees to Freedom Center, so I'll be using that pass until it's used up. Then, I'll be running outside after that.

I don't know how much I weigh right now, and I don't want to look haha. I'm sure I'm not 190 pounds though like when I first started a month and a half ago. I hope I'm still somewhere near 177 pounds. But, probably not. My goal is 165 pounds. Please, Lord!

Maxwell: Black Summer's Night

Part 1 of the trilogy is money. I got it a few days ago and it's been on repeat in my car every since. There's only 9 songs, but each song can be played all the way through. It sounds like one whole song. I mean that in a good way in that all the songs flow well together, not in the sense that every song sounds the same. Hopefully the next two albums will be as great as this one.

Finally, I got myself a deadstock pair. I'm pretty happy about these, but I have no idea when I'll wear them. This is the one shoe that I would be straight with keeping deadstock. That patent leather is just too beautiful.

Also, my parents are back from the Philippines. Praise God!

Lastly, I've heard good things about conference. Good job, northeast. Too bad Canada won dance. Let's see some videos of their dance!

All Growed Up...

I pretty much traded in my Unfutura Dunks for these. I used the money that I got from the Unfuturas to get these on the same day. I met up with some Filipino guy on craigslist at Kingstowne after watching Transformers 2 with my boy. I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. It was an entertaining movie. Were ya'll expecting it to have a plot like The Dark Knight or Megan Fox acting as well as Kate Winslet? But yeah, I finally got these in the colorway that I wanted. They had the sand suede and the black suede 2 for $100, but I just didn't like those colors as much. Ah well.

Pray For My Dad...

Hey folks, for anyone that reads this, please pray for my dad. His brother in the Philippines just got shot and killed. We just got a call from my aunt in NY. I didn't know him too much, but I'm close with my cousins. It pains me to know their dad is dead and that my dad's younger brother is gone. It's been a tough two years for my dad losing family left and right. With his old age, he can't be taking too much more of this. Please pray. Thank you.
