Party Down... and Out...

R.I.P. Party Down. This was one of my favorite shows to watch this year. I watched Season 1 on Netflix in about 2 days. Then, I followed Season 2 weekly... also on Netflix. Loved the show. I'll miss every single character... all of them had their shine. I hate you, Starz.

6 AM...

My 6 AM shifts are killing me. Effing up my sleep pattern and my workout/exercise routine.

In other news, should I or should I not drop my summer class. I think I might just take it in the fall.

Weekend Family Time...

Had a blast this weekend.

-Friday night, I saw Grown Ups with Samer, Samer's sister, Ant, Nate, Alan, and Nikki. Hilarious movie.
-Saturday afternoon, went to Samer's to watch USA lose to Ghana. Eh.
-Saturday evening, went to Pho 75 in Falls Church with my 25 and up friends (my brothers' friends). Mad good. I hadn't had pho in a year probably. It was for our homie Dion's birthday. It's gonna be his last birthday here before he moves to England with his fiance. Well, by the time they move, they'll be married already. Anyway! After that, I made a slight detour and attempted to take Nikki shopping at that place called "lil thingamajigs" next to Shilla and Il Mee. She didn't find anything though. However, I got her a little dessert from Shilla. From there we parted, and I went on my way to our friend Larry and Cherry's house to meet up with everyone else that was at Pho 75. I'm just gonna skip all the funny stories and say that the drinks started flowing... and... yikes! By the next morning, I was shirtless and all the pho came back out the wrong end haha.
-Sunday noon, my brothers, sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces, Larry, Cherry, Paul, and I went swimming at their community pool. Mad nice and relaxing. Will do again very soon.

Feeling Good Feeling Great...

Been working out hardcore the past week with cardio sprinkled in between plus a decent diet. Nice! I feel good and I can already see quick results on my arms. However, I know the shoulders won't get sculpted overnight.

In other news, I'm getting ridiculous hours at work this week. They got me coming in at 6 AM everyday for what they call "clearance strategy" since I quickly became their go-to guy whenever they want stuff done quickly. It feels good. I can't wait to excel in my next "real" job haha.

Oh yeah, with what my next paycheck is looking like, San Diego is looking like a possibility this August...

I don't know if I already blogged about this, but I killed my final exam! 40/40... and no, I'm not talking about Jay-Z's sports bar. I got a 95 in the class. I haven't gotten that high in a minute. It's always an A- or B+.... stupid GMU GPA scoring system.

I'm almost done with my list... nice. After that, I don't see myself buying anything else outside of replacing what I already have now.

Navy lowtops. (Bought by two of my best friends for life. @Ant0224 and @samspaced . Thanks, fellas!)


Black lowtops. (The Vans are pretty much done for... breaking in the Converse Sea Star Ox.)


High top sneakers. (These are the most basic model of the Air Jordan. Love them. Love the color placement. Love how high they go. Love the nylon tongue. Thank God I didn't end up selling these.)


Beeswax boots. (They get better with more character aka creases and scratches.)


Boat shoes. (Light, great summer shoe. I like this color, but I wouldn't be too mad with getting a dark brown leather pair one day.)


Wallabees. (For when you want to look a little more formal, but not quite up for wearing boots that day.)
