Wow, so Manassas is on the front page of MTV.com. Why was I on MTV.com you ask? I was trying to watch the RW/RR challenge and see if CT came back yet. CT is the man! But that's beside the point. Long Overdue.... Day 1 of West Coast...

Finished our day off at the fair with this delicious (and expensive) funnel cake. They wanted another 3 bucks for ice cream, and another 3 for something else. If you got a fully loaded one, it would've came out to around $17 haha.

Great game today, Jets. Even without Revis, the secondary was awesome in the 2nd half... especially Cro on Moss. Mark was playing like a veteran. I hope the whole team can keep up this type of play. Onto Miami next week! And LT, keep on hurdling those lines... 'twas a beautiful thing to watch.

The Very Near Future...

Ideally, I would move out west by the end of next year, but it just doesn't feel right. I don't feel like I've paid my dues to my family. After I graduate this winter, my dad will probably plan on retiring shortly after... well that's what my mom just told me, although half-jokingly. So, who really knows? But even if he weren't to retire for another couple of years, I still feel like I should stay here, truly save up for the long-term instead of for the short-term San Diego lifestyle. Most importantly, I want to help out at home financially to ease the burden on my dad. Currently, my mom is still unemployed... as it looks right now, she's not looking to work. I'm very happy for her because she gets to take care of her beautiful nephews and nieces while wearing the apron that I sewed for her in home economics in 8th grade hahaha. But yeah, both my brothers paid their dues with helping financially around the house... one more than the other solely because one has more independence than the other... but that's beside the point. I need and want to stick around here for a year.. or two... or three before I embark on a new chapter of my life. My mom just told me that we have a 33-year mortgage on the house... I'd say we had it refinanced back in 2005 or so.. so that leaves us with 28 more years. Yikes! My dad is already 58 years old... so obviously somebody else gotta pay for that 28 years... or we can sell the house, my middle brother and his family can get their own place, and my parents retire in the Philippines or live with one of us 3 brothers. It's a lot to take in and think about, but the time to be concerned about this is quickly approaching.

Too much fun! I'll be posting some pics up in a day or so. I got back into BWI last night at 11 PM.. the flight was not bad at all since the airline played "Just Wright" during the flight... what an aweso.... awful movie. Anyway, today I got my Tmobile problems fixed. I got $125 waived along with the other $100 worth of texts that would have been charged for me in September if I hadn't gone in to talk to them. Then, I went in to work to pick up my paycheck. I deposited that ASAP. My bank account was looking very ugly prior to 4 PM today. School starts on Monday, I gotta buy books and a parking pass. Ahhh!

-Hot Tub Time Machine was pretty funny, but kind of slow in some parts.
-The party on Saturday night was craaaaazy. Had tons of laughs.
-I'm currently catching up with the last two episodes of Persons Unknown. The show is not that good, but I've invested enough of my time into it that I HAVE TO see what happens at the end haha.

Bump Corporate, Doggie...

There was a corporate visit at work and my manager was buggin' out... Anyway, my past couple of days have been wild.

Thursday: I left my house for work at around 5:30PM. Worked thinking I would get out at midnight like my schedule said.
Friday: [Charlie Murphy] WRONG! WRONG!! [/Charlie Murphy] Worked until 4AM. Went home by 4:30... showered... ate some microwaved noodles... then left for work again at 5:30. Work started at 6AM to finish what we didn't hours before. Corporate came in by 9AM. They finally left at 12:30 PM, which is when I got to leave. Thank God! I was dead tired... I got home at 1 PM and slept until 5 PM. Then, I got ready to go to Krishilda's debut in Arlington. I really was not trying to go out or drive in my condition. But, I committed and went. It turned out pretty fun.
Saturday: Happy Birthday to my oldest brother, Vince. We're about to start this party in like half an hour. BBQ-ing right now before people arrive. I need this... because there's another floorset tomorrow night!

Week 1 of driving Aya to Bethesda is over. So tired! The past 4 days I've driven 3-4 hours per day... 3 of those hours being straight. I found a quicker way to get there by taking Exit 39 (River Road) instead of getting off on Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue) and going through those stop lights and the "city." We get there in about 45-50 minutes. But, today there was really bad traffic from Exit 28-31. It cost us like 20 minutes. I guess it's just like that on Fridays because Tuesday-Thursday it was wide open. 5 more trips to go next week. 1,200 miles in 9 days isn't too bad, right? Hahaha.

Tonight, LBJ will announce he is going to sign with NY. Please! It's crazy he's holding a press conference and a one hour special on ESPN to announce it haha... while Dwyane and Bosh didn't do anything. If he doesn't go to NY, then definitely MIA. Just please do not go back to that hole called Cleveland and rot away your prime years.

Anyway, I just woke up after sleeping at 7:30 AM. I'm never doing those floor sets again even though they gave me very good hours.

Samer and I got cherry icies. Mad good. I never had one before because of my sensitive teeth, but this was not too bad.

I ran the bridge today for the first time. I think it was 4 miles to and from... and I had already ran 2 miles in the morning before going to the mall and then MD. I probably ran for 30 minutes and walked for 30 minutes. It was definitely on and off. By the way, Alan and Nikki were with me. We only got to the VA border sign. We never got to Exit 177. I was just done by then. Going back, I sprinted to the start of the bridge, then the rest of the way, we just walked it. Next time, hopefully next week, I'm hoping for a better ratio like 35 minutes running and 25 minutes walking. Proud of Alan and Nikki. The scenery was nice and the weather was beautiful. Yum.

Party Down... and Out...

R.I.P. Party Down. This was one of my favorite shows to watch this year. I watched Season 1 on Netflix in about 2 days. Then, I followed Season 2 weekly... also on Netflix. Loved the show. I'll miss every single character... all of them had their shine. I hate you, Starz.

My 6 AM shifts are killing me. Effing up my sleep pattern and my workout/exercise routine.

In other news, should I or should I not drop my summer class. I think I might just take it in the fall.

Weekend Family Time...

Had a blast this weekend.

-Friday night, I saw Grown Ups with Samer, Samer's sister, Ant, Nate, Alan, and Nikki. Hilarious movie.
-Saturday afternoon, went to Samer's to watch USA lose to Ghana. Eh.
-Saturday evening, went to Pho 75 in Falls Church with my 25 and up friends (my brothers' friends). Mad good. I hadn't had pho in a year probably. It was for our homie Dion's birthday. It's gonna be his last birthday here before he moves to England with his fiance. Well, by the time they move, they'll be married already. Anyway! After that, I made a slight detour and attempted to take Nikki shopping at that place called "lil thingamajigs" next to Shilla and Il Mee. She didn't find anything though. However, I got her a little dessert from Shilla. From there we parted, and I went on my way to our friend Larry and Cherry's house to meet up with everyone else that was at Pho 75. I'm just gonna skip all the funny stories and say that the drinks started flowing... and... yikes! By the next morning, I was shirtless and all the pho came back out the wrong end haha.
-Sunday noon, my brothers, sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces, Larry, Cherry, Paul, and I went swimming at their community pool. Mad nice and relaxing. Will do again very soon.

Feeling Good Feeling Great...

Been working out hardcore the past week with cardio sprinkled in between plus a decent diet. Nice! I feel good and I can already see quick results on my arms. However, I know the shoulders won't get sculpted overnight.

In other news, I'm getting ridiculous hours at work this week. They got me coming in at 6 AM everyday for what they call "clearance strategy" since I quickly became their go-to guy whenever they want stuff done quickly. It feels good. I can't wait to excel in my next "real" job haha.

Oh yeah, with what my next paycheck is looking like, San Diego is looking like a possibility this August...

I don't know if I already blogged about this, but I killed my final exam! 40/40... and no, I'm not talking about Jay-Z's sports bar. I got a 95 in the class. I haven't gotten that high in a minute. It's always an A- or B+.... stupid GMU GPA scoring system.
