Ten Favorite Moments of 2008...

I intended this to be my ten favorite moments of the year, but I couldn't decide on just 10. I think 15 is good. It'll just be pictures for now. The text will come later when I have more energy. If you read this after I edit, then it won't make sense haha. Anyway, here they are...

1. First Date (September 27th)

I definitely forgot to wear a belt. Woops.

Here's the cutest creature in the world... Oh, and the butterflies.

2. San Diego (August 20th)

Double date and La Jolla action.

I'll be back one day.

3. New York with Samer (November 20-23)
No pictures, womp womp.

4. Discovery Camp (October 17-19)

The service team minus a few.

There's one thing missing in this picture... me next to my nubian ebony queen.

And the Oscar goes to...

5. Kids Village (August 15-17)

Apple sauce tasting like some dookie.

Step up the spelling, Oyo.

6. Soccer In The Rain (Mid-summer, I suppose)
If I had pictures for this, then I probably would've been electrocuted.

7. My 21st Birthday Party (June 7th)

How's everybody gonna play me like that? : /

8. Fune Returns ; National Harbor (September 9th)

Still waiting on that call from Playgirl.

Bring out the cards.

9. Christmas Eve (December 24th)

Nikon FTW? Yes.

The hell? An adapter?

Duf? A busted ass cell phone?

Ay nako. Old ass shirts?... in a Spalding shoe box?

Nope, digital frame, homie.

10. Christmas Tree Lighting at National Harbor (November 28th)

Eating on top of a fridge outside.

Thanks for the picture, Nik.

Honorable Mention
11. Medieval Times (June 13th)

Farewell, Lani!

12. Thanksgiving Dinner at Alan's (November 25th)

Sound the feasting horns!

Here I go revealing the bomb ass pot roast that Nikki concocted.

13. July 4th ; The MVP is Here (July 4th)

We killed it! I was on fire that game. Who knew? After all those gay, feminine, not man enough jokes... who knew?

14. Nationals Game (June 22nd)

They got their ass whooped, but hey the tix were free.

15. Shutting Up North (July 25th)

This was very satisfying kicking that ass. I believe we won 4 games to 1. A couple of them being blowouts. It was fun giving that spanking after they talked all that trash.

Oasis...

He called Jay-Z out, but F it. I still love their music haha. Anyway, this song has no meaning. I just heard it in a movie I was watching and I googled its soundtrack. So yeah, here it is:

Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out

Screw it, I'll just post some of their other songs, too.

Wonderwall

Champagne Casanova

Top 10 films of 2008 (that I saw in theaters)(in order):
  1. The Dark Knight
  2. Wall-E
  3. Iron Man
  4. Tropic Thunder
  5. Pineapple Express
  6. Madagascar 2
  7. Ghost Town
  8. Jumper
  9. Wanted
  10. Be Kind Rewind
Top 10 Pick Ups of 2008 (in order):

1. Air Penny II. Of course my favorite shoe of all time would be my favorite pick-up... especially at 40% off. Thanks, Ant!

2. Air Jordan III CDP. I'm glad I got to get a pair of these. I overpaid, but oh well! I've paid under retail waaaaaaaay more than I've paid retail.

3. Air Jordan VIII. The sockliner on these are oh so comfy. Plus, you can't go wrong with the straps and tongue patch. Tinker knew what he was doing. This is the only pair that I pad resell prices for. I got them from Vince L. for $160.

4. Air Trainer II. I wore these the majority of the time when I was out in Cali. It was these and the Wallabees. I only brought two pairs out there. These looked good with everything and were also very comfortable. $70 at the outlet while Elite at the same time was still selling them for $125.

5. Nike Blazer. These are sentimental because they were a gift from Nikki. They retailed for $105, but were on sale at URBN.com for $40. Great steal! They also became very comfy once I took them out of the box and just let them sit in a natural setting. I guess the sun and heat warmed up the soles.

6. Air Max 95. I paid retail for these from Downtown Locker Room at St. Charles. They were the last pair and I didn't see them in any other stores. Love these joints. I had to replace the beat pair that I sold to Marion a few years back. These were $140. Gah!

7. Air Pippen. Mmm. I just love these colors together. My brother had these in the white/navy colorway when we were kids. I was so jealous back then. Again, Ant hooked these up with the swoosh account. 40% off.

8. Flightposite. I like the gold and eggplant colorways more, but I just would not be able to wear those. The color is a bit much... not that these shoes are any more subtle haha. I bought these with the Pippens. 40% off also. The fit on these is so awesome. Can't go wrong with -posite.

9. Zapato del Barco. This is my most worn pair of shoes. They go great with everything and are very comfy. I wore these and the Wallabees on my NY mini-vacay. Mmm. Vans never disappoint.

10. Chukka Low. I won't lie. I bit Matt on these. I saw him wearing them when I was out in San Diego. I was like wow, those look great with dark denim which is what I primarily wear. They were also very comfy and came at a great price at the Vans store in Fair Oaks. They also go well with just about any top. Go Vans!

Collection Day...

These aren't all the pictures yet. I still have to organize them and pick out which pictures turned out all right. But yeah, this is my boy's collection. He has 190+ pairs in these pictures, but he has like 20 more on the floor to the left of where I was taking pictures at and even more in his room upstairs. I did all of the box work in making sure the boxes were the same height, which was so much damn work! It was like a jigsaw puzzle. Then, I also made the last row two boxes lower because I just had this feeling that if we made it too high, we wouldn't even get to reach the floor. It was a good decision because we ended up with the perfect amount of boxes to end with a one-box-high stack on the last row and then the floor level following that. So, in short, I'm a mathematical genius. Just kidding. Enjoy the pictures.
