Cheese Pizza >>> Any Topping...

So, I was driving home from class... starving. I wanted some cheese fries real bad from Wendy's but I couldn't get myself to use my credit card for just cheese fries. It would've been something under 2 bucks. I felt cheap haha. So, I asked myself if Pizza Hut served single slices, but really, I was too lazy to find out. Then, right as I was approaching the restaurant which I got the pizza from, I remembered that it was there. I had never been there before. I just knew that there was a mom and pop pizza restaurant that I've passed everyday for the past 9 years of my life. I quickly turned and found myself in this run-down-looking shopping center. That's where this place is located. To my surprise, it was packed. I know this entry is OD'ing, but I'm just real happy I finally tried this place out because the pizza was damn good.. and add to that the fact that I have been craving for a wide and thin slice of cheese pizza for a few weeks now. I felt like I was a kid again in Queens buying pizza slices with my family. If you don't have to fold your pizza to eat it and if the oil doesn't run down to your wrist, you're not eating the good stuff haha. 'Til next time...

Josh Howard With a Torn ACL...

WASHINGTON (AP)—The Washington Wizards said Tuesday that forward Josh Howard(notes) will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Howard was injured Monday night in Washington’s win over the Chicago Bulls, only his fourth game with the Wizards since being acquired from Dallas in a seven-player trade on Feb. 13. He collided with the Bulls’ Flip Murray(notes) with 4:23 to play in the first quarter and stayed on the floor for a minute before being helped off the court by two trainers.

Howard started three games for Washington and scored 14.5 points a game to help the Wizards go 3-1 since the deal, which sent starter Caron Butler(notes) to the Mavericks.

Howard has averaged 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds since his 2003-04 rookie season with the Mavs.

No decision has been announced on whether Howard would have surgery.

“We’re disappointed for Josh personally. He did an outstanding job,” Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld said. “We feel bad for him. The guys will have to step up in his absence.

“He was excited to be here.”

Without Howard, Washington has just 10 players on the active roster. Gilbert Arenas(notes) and Javaris Crittenton(notes) are suspended for the season for carrying guns in the locker room, and two other players, Zyundras Ilgauskas and Mike James(notes), are seeking buyouts. Ilgauskas was acquired from Cleveland in a trade for Antawn Jamison(notes) on Feb. 16, and Grunfeld said that “we’re making progress” in buyout talks.

Al Thornton(notes), acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the three-team deal featuring Jamison, will likely start in Howard’s place when Washington plays Memphis on Wednesday night.

“We’re going to be short-handed,” Grunfeld said. “We’ll look around and see what’s out there, but no one will be able to do what he did.”

30 Rock...

I've been sleeping on this show. I've essentially caught up by watching the first 3 seasons during the snow week. I'm mad only the last 5 episodes are available for this season. Oh well, I'll wait until the DVD is out or when the episodes are up on Netflix. This show has way more funny quotes than The Office. I kind of feel cheated after thinking The Office was the funniest show NBC had to offer... but they've fallen off so much. Community and 30 Rock >>> The Office.

Damn, what a waste of my time. The buildup was for no reason whatsoever. I knew from the start that Shannon Brown was trash. He just jumps high... that's IT! Zero creativity... along with the other contestants. At least Nate TRIED to do something nice. You can only do so much at that height haha. Anyway, that was terrible. For once, Magic Johnson didn't say, "Ladies and gentlemen, the Dunk Contest is back!"

Bright Future...

I never got to blog about this, but to my Jets, it was a good run. We got a bright future ahead. Hopefully next year, Leon Washington and Kris Jenkins come back healthy. Hopefully, we can draft a CB that can play well opposite of Revis. Hopefully, we can draft a competent WR... Golden Tate at #29 would be money.

But yeah, it was very fun watching the Jets every week this season. Hopefully next year Samer gets the NFL Sunday Ticket again so we can catch every game, and I won't have to rely on live streams anymore.

The Majestic... and Tackle Box...

The Majestic was awesome... great ambiance, great food, GREAT service, easy parking. It's on King Street in Alexandria.. right when you get off of 495/95.

Nikki got the Mint Julep. Tasty.
Then, we got the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer. The first bite was amazing. We forgot to take a picture of that one. Oh well. But yeah, I would go there again JUST for the fried green tomatoes. Freakin' money.
Then, I got the home-style meatloaf... delicious also. My potatoes were so soft and the green beans were perfect, too.
Nikki had a Ceasar salad for her main entree. It was very tasty and the anchovies were mad good... the salad was mixed tableside... cool touch.
For dessert, we had coconut cake. It was definitely worth the $7.50. We took the picture after we had taken a few bites already. Woops.

Then, we also went to Tackle Box (not the same night obviously). We forgot to take pictures of the food altogether, but it was dark in there anyway, so the pictures would've came out even crappier than usual. But, I got two fish tacos. The fish was perfectly seasoned and they were very generous with the portion. Nikki got fried scallops and fried green tomatoes... I think I have my new favorite appetizer haha. I loved this place. I'm definitely trying to go back to both places eventually... probably Tackle Box because it's cheaper.

Alan, Joe, Nikki, and I ate here for Restaurant Week. We had lunch. We're trying to get another one in before the week is over... well that's tomorrow. Hopefully we can find a good place. I got a box with some sushi, green beans and mushrooms, and steak. My steak was maaaaaad good! Then for dessert was churros and some chocolate thing.





And if anyone ever wondered what I go to the hospital every day for... well I stand in front of this light when I go... a set amount of time for my front and then the same time on my back... I'm currently at 4:30 on each side. I'm just working my way up to 7 minutes. I try to go up 15 seconds every 2-3 days.

So, I was on Yahoo and clicked on this news article that was about some officer killing his neighbor's dog, but that was in the county over from mine. I typed in Manassas to look for news stories. Then, these came up:

This one is about a bank robber that's robbed 3 other banks in the area. In this particular story, he robbed a bank that I pass by every single day on my way to the hospital... since I go everyday for the most part. I've gone 15 days in a row up until yesterday. I usually leave my house at 3:20-3:25 and pass the corner that the bank is on at around 3:30-3:35. The bank robber struck at 3:30 and then fled on foot. It's crazy I didn't go yesterday. I could've seen this guy running haha.

This story is about a guy that stabbed his girlfriend on New Year's day. Finally U.S. Marshal found him in this apartment hiding. The apartment is right across the street from the hospital that I go to... literally right across from my hospital.. not like how others say, "Oh it's across the street," but it's really a few blocks down. NO, right across!

It's an eerie feeling. I feel like Manassas is so safe and I never see any cops arresting anybody... aside from people being pulled over. It's crazy to me that something happens everyday, but we just don't hear about it unless we look for the information ourselves since Manassas isn't really going to get any time on the evening news.

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets Jets! + Clue (The Office Edition)...

I can't believe the Jets made it! Seriously. I can't put it into words enough, but our season seemed a lot worse than 9-7. It must've been all those heart wrenching losses and 20 Sanchize interceptions... and the way they came in bunches. Oooohhhh, here we come Cincy. If Mark can manage the game the same way next week, if our corners can play shut down defense again, and if our offensive line can dominate Cincy's line again, it's a wrap! Then again, Cincy will be at home with home field advantage haha.

While watching the game, I was with Adrianne and Krista at Adrianne's house... catching up, eating, and playing Clue. The Office Edition was pretty dope. I'm trying to buy my own. Stanley was killer like 4 times haha. I won 4, KB won 3, and A won 1. Loser!

But yeah, go JETS!
